These rankings are based on our assessment of the companies’ performance records, future prospects, financial strength and features on their plans/products. This is based on the research we have undertaken and the information we have collated across our web site over the past year.

Rankings and League Table: -

League Table

These are, we believe, the top 26 companies in the market measured by their importance in the with-profits sector.

Any plan holder making decisions about their with-profit plan should only do so after taking independent finance which is tailored specifically to their own situation. We recommend, without exception, that any decision can only be taken following an individual review.

The fact that a company may appear towards the top of the rankings does not mean that an investor should rest on their laurels. There may be very good reasons why an investor in a good with-profit plan or company may wish to exit or transfer their money elsewhere. The opposite is also true: just because a company is in the lower reaches of the rankings does not necessarily mean that an investor should exit, there may be compelling reasons (e.g. to wait for a guarantee) why an investor should stay. Once again the independent review will deal with this and bring to the fore all the various issues and compare all the future options.
