MVRs

Prudential may apply an MVR to full or partial withdrawal as a result of switches, transfers or early retirements on all investments that have been running for less than 5 years. For investments that have been running for longer periods, prudential considers the application of an MVR on any particular withdrawal where that withdrawal results in the total amount paid out, including any other payments in the previous 12 months, exceeding £25,000. Prudential only apply MVRs to the withdrawal amount in excess of £25,000 in these circumstances. As plans approach the normal retirement date, the size of any MVR that would apply is gradually reduced.
